Bodywerk Dance is a Black-owned business founded in 2012 by Momo LeBeau. Bodywerk Dance and Momo provide a safe space for people to leave their troubles behind. It does not matter who you are or what you look like, Bodywerk Dance is about moving and feeling free. They believe everyone can dance and that dance has the transformative power to heal and uplift.
Bodywerk is a dynamic hip hop dance jam, good for all levels, blending a variety of contemporary urban styles. Class starts with a warm-up to get blood flowing and to orient students on the basic moves. The core of the class is focused on building short sequences -- song by song. Students repeat the sequences to raise the heart rate, challenge the mind, and invigorate the soul.
All Bodywerk Dance classes are taught by award winning instructor, Momo LeBeau. We feature a fusion of Hip Hop, Afrobeats, Dancehall, jazz and many other dance styles.
Classes are all levels, everyone is welcome!
